Wash Shrinkage Percentage Formula:

To be a dynamic merchandiser a person should know about Wash shrinkage percentage Formula.
I’m sharing two most valuable wash formulas like Knit Fabric and Woven Fabric shrinkage percentage. The world standard shrinkage allowance is 6-7 % for Knit and 3-4 % for Woven fabric. Here I’ve given the Knit fabric wash shrinkage percentage example below:

After wash – Before wash * 100 / Before wash.
If we know,
Before wash =  35 cm of fabric
After wash = 33 cm of fabric
So Now,
33 – 35 * 100 / 35
= 5.71 %
And this Percentage is allow by internationally.
